Is there Player versus Player in this game? Is it required? |

Players may compete against each other in a variety of formats including Survival, Team, and Tag Match battles. This PvP is optional, although experience and GP are rewarded to successful players.

Grand Chase features a progressive job advancement system for continuing character development that will be revealed as the game progresses.

What are runes? |
|
Runes are crafted items that are used to enhance your Weapon, Armor, or Helm item. The plans and materials to craft a rune, as well as the reagents necessary to upgrade a rune may be found in dungeons. Runes are re-usable, and can be removed and replaced from gear at any time.

What is the maximum level? |

The level cap for the North American release of Grand Chase is currently set at 75.

The characters Arme, Elesis and Lire are available from the beginning. More characters will be made available as the game progresses.

Why do some items in "Group Loot" mode get distributed right away? |
|
Certain items (such as equipment) that are considered important to the game's progression are given out automatically, so that they can be kept in case the dungeon is not finished. Even though these items are distributed immediately, they still follow the appropriate looting rule, so on "Group Loot" the items will be given out randomly no matter who picked them up.

I picked up an item, but now I can't find it, where is it? |
|
Some items that are picked up in a dungeon are placed into a "treasure box" to be distributed at the end of the dungeon. If you received items at the end of a dungeon that you cannot locate, try searching on another character as some items are character-specific. For example, Elesis uses a sword, so a sword item found using Arme will only show up when you switch to Elesis.

Can you trade items? |
|
Both items and GP cannot be traded with other players, any item you find is yours to keep!
|

Are there any male characters? |
|
The female characters Arme, Elesis and Lire are available at start, however more characters will be made available as the game progresses. It is important to realize that the character you play is a fully-developed character with their own pre-written story, rather than an archetype that you use as a mold.
