Bermesian pets have been around for at least as long as the Bermesians themselves. Average citizens, Knights, and even the royal family cannot resist the allure of pets, which are as varied in appearance and personality as people.

Pets are fiercely loyal to their owners, ready to sacrifice themselves for the sake of their owner’s safety. This loyalty is why they are reliable partners and companions for Grand Chase warriors on tough journeys.
1. Pets become stronger as they grow!

If you carry a pet with you on a journey, you will see your pet grow stronger and stronger as it gains experience in battle.
2. Pets add stat points to their owners’!

A pet’s stat points are added to its owner’s points. This stat bonus is reduced if the owner’s level is lower than his pet’s.

3. Growth

Pets level up when their accumulated experience points reach the level up requirement. When pets level up, they receive bonus points for their stats such as Attack Strength, Defense Strength, and Vitality.
4. Pets assist their owners in battle with awesome skills.

Each pet possesses unique skills which it uses to support its owner in battle or to attack enemies.
5. Pets evolve and transform.

All pets except for Ming-Ming and Cupid can undergo one evolution stage. Pets grow stronger, gain access to more powerful skills, and change in appearance when they evolve.
Evolution System

  • Evolving a pet requires a Pet Evolution Manual in accordance with the target pet’s level.
  • There are 3 types of 1st grade Pet Evolution Manuals for pet levels 0, 20, and 40.
  • When a pet evolves, its level will be reset to 0.

Skill System: The following list shows the types of skills that Grand Chase pets can use.
Debuff Decrease Attack Strength, Defense Strength, and Vitality for a set duration.
Physical Attack A skill which enables a pet to inflict physical damage to a target.
Magic Attack A skill which enables a pet to inflict magic damage to a target from a distance.
Abnormal Status Decrease Movement Speed, and continuously reduce HP and MP.
Heal Increase HP for itself and its friendly targets.
Repletion System
Pet’s EXP acquisition is greatly affected by its feed repletion status: pets gain more EXP when are they fed well, and acquire less EXP if they are fed poorly. You can check your pet’s repletion rate and the remaining repletion time in the Pet Equipment window. When a pet is fed, its repletion rate will be restored for a set duration, and if the repletion rate is reduced to 0, the pet cannot gain any EXP. The type of feed used will affect the amount of repletion rate restored.
